20110905 Monday School Routine Arief Puasa

Monday, back to school routine for the kids.

0415 - Arief woke up to join Bapak for Sahur. We plan to Puasa 6 this Syawal.

0500 - Subuh Prayer.

0545 - Hakim and Nurin woke up and get ready for school.

0630 - All off to school.

1240 - Nurin and Hakim home.

1300 - Bapak picked up Arief from school. He appeared tired, maybe because he is fasting.

1400 - KAFA for all.

1700 - All home.

1823 - Break Fasting time in KK.

1900 - 2000 - Revision time. No mengaji today.

2100 - No Supermak. Bed time for all.

Tomorrow, normal Tuesday routine.

20110904 Tenom to KK

Sunday. Today is driving back time to KK:

0830 - Breakfast time.

1030 - Check out and drive back to KK via Sipitang - Beaufort - KK. What a route that was with steep and long climbs.

1230 - Stop over at Bongawan mosque for Zuhur prayer.

1530 - 1630 - Pizza Hut time at 1B.

1700 - Safely home after about 270 km of driving. The route via Sipitang is about 10 km more than via Papar!

1830 - Maghrib prayer.

1930 - Isya Prayer.

2000 - Dinner time. The kids are ready for school tomorrow.

Tomorrow, back to school!

20110903 Saturday In and around Tenom

Saturday. Today we have nothing in particular except to explore part of Tenom. Top of the list is of course the Taman Pertanian Tenom.

0800 - All up.

1030 - Breakfast at the hotel. Very simple one.

1100 - Drive to Kemabong - Tenom - Taman Pertanian.

1230 - 1330 - Taman Pertanian Tenom. Very nicely kept. Luckily there was a train ride!

1400 - Back in Tenom, straight to KFC for lunch.

1500 - Back to the hotel.

1700 - Went out to see Tenom town.

1830 - Back in the hotel with packed dinner.

1900 - 2200 - TV time and bed time.

Tomorrow, we have to drive back to KK via Sipitang.

20110902 Friday KK to Tenom

Friday, today is work as usual for Bapak and we had made a hotel reservation in Tenom.

0700 - Bapak went out to work. The kids are having their free time today. The boys went out to their friend's house.

1030 - Mama friend are at home.

1100 - Mama and the girls went out to a friend's house in the neighbourhood.

1130 - Bapak home. Mama still in the friend's house.

1215 - 1315 - Friday prayer time.

1345 - Mama home.

1415 - We are off to Tenom! A town famous for its coffee, about 260 km away to the south in the mountainous Crocker range.

1745 - Safely arrived at the Perkasa Hotel. A nice hotel situated on top of a hill overlooking Tenom valley.

1900 - Dinner time, KFC.

2100 - Bed time for all.

Tomorrow, we plan to drive around the town.

20110901 3rd Syawal

0100 - Mama and Bapak went to the boss's home to prepare for the funeral tomorrow.

0600 - Mama and Bapak went to the airport to say bye to the boss.

0800 - Mama and Bapak home continuing our sleep.

1030 - Mama, Bapak and the girls went to a friend's open house. The boys prefer to join their friends in the housing quarters.

1400 - Mama and Bapak home went straight to the housing quarters to continue with the houses visits.

1700 - Mama and Bapak home.

1930 - Isya prayer time.

2000 - 2100 - Bunga api time.

2130 - Bed time for all.

Tomorrow, work as usual for Bapak and we will go to Tenom in the afternoon.

20110831 2nd day Syawal Open Houses! 54th Merdeka Day!

Tuesday, Today is the 2nd day of Syawal. It's open house and open houses!!!. ..with plenty of foods! Today is also our cpuntry 54th Independent Day.
0550 - Suboh prayer time.
0915 - Bapak sent the boys off to the housing quarters.
1100 - 1300 - We visited our immediate neighbours.
1400 - The boys are home.
1500 - 1700 - We visited our another open houses.
1705 - Bapak received a message that a mother of our boss has passed away in the local hospital. Prepared for a busy night tonight.
1830 - Maghrib prayer at the base mosque.
1940 - Isya prayer at the base mosque.
2000 - Mama and Bapak off to our boss house. The body arived around 2300.
2330 - Mama and Bapak home. The kids are already slept.
Tomorrow, the boys wanted to continue with their visits and Mama and Bapak need to peform some prayers for the boss' mother.

20110830 Tuesday 1 Syawal! Happy Hari Raya!

Tuesday, Today is the 1st of Sawal. It's Aidil Fitri!!!. ..with plenty of foods!
0550 - Suboh prayer time.
0715 - Bapak and the boys off to the mosque for the prayer.
0915 - All home.
0930 - All off to Bapak office. We have a gathering for those on duty.
1100 - All home.
1200 - 1400 - We visited out neighbours and vice versa.
1430 - 1530 - We visited our big boss in the base.
1600 - 1800 - At home entertaining visitors of all ages!. The boys off to perform their visits.

1815 - Bapak picked up the boys somewhere in the housing quarters.

1830 - Nadia fell asleep in the sofa.

1930 - 2100 - We went out to Mama's colleague. Nadia was left behind.
2130 - Bedtime for all.
Tomorrow, the boys wanted to continue with their visits! OK.
