20110611 Saturday - Final day of Yatching Lesson & Telupid Trip

Saturday. Today is Nurin's and Hakim's final yatching lesson day whereas Mama and Bapak had a trip to Telupid for Bapak's staff wedding. Chance for us to see a Sabah style wedding.

0730 - Mama and Bapak off to the mosque to board the waiting bus. We told a friend to give the kids a lift to their school. It was raining heavily in PTKK.

0830 - The bus off to Telupid.

0900 - The kids van departed for Tg Aru Yatch Club.

1000 - 1230 - The kids were having an oral tests to test their knowledge on the handling of the optimist boat.

1330 - The kids home. Mama and Bapak arrived Telupid after 5 hours of bus ride!

1515 - The bus off from Telupid to PTKK.

2015 - Mama and Bapak home! Some Kundasang strawberries for the kids. Nurin and Hakim told us that the result of their Yatching test willb be out by Monday.

2200 - Bedtime for all.

Tomorrow, Arief guitar lesson and some weekly shopping.

20110609 Thursday - Atuk Balik

Wednesday. Today Atuks will leave for KL. Nurin and Hakim will have a Yatching lesson.

0630 - We woke Nurin and Hakim up to get ready to school.

0730 - We sent Nurin and Hakim to school for their van to Tanjung Aru Yatch Club.

0800 - Arief up. Mama was helping Atuks with their baggage especially the box of ikan kerings!

1230 - Lunch time.

1300 - We sent Atuks to Terminal 2 KKIA for Atuks flight to KL.

1445 - Atuks entered the departure hall. We went up to the nearby Tanjung Aru Yatch Club to see how Nurin and Hakim doing.

1500 - 1600 - We managed to see how the kids were doing in the yatch club. Today they had a theory lesson in the pool and also on elevated manpowered simulator! Tomorrow is the real test in the sea.

1630 - Lesson finished. The kids was so excited but Nurin was a bit nervous. We found out that they were given a lesson on how to sail with an Optimist Class boat.

1700 - 1845 - We had a detour to 1Borneo. We shopped for the kids clothes. A lot! And dinner at McD.

1915 - All home. We told Nurin and Hakim to go to bed early for they have another round tomorrow.

2100 - All slept except for Nadia and Arief.

Tomorrow, real test for Nurin and Hakim. Good luck kids!
