Wednesday. Today, we will check out and return to KK. The night at the lodge was really cool. There was nothing except with the sound of the waves. Though without air con, due to its traditional roof top, the night was quite cold!
0700 - All up. We urged the kids to brush their teeth. No need to take shower because we planned to take big shower at the beach. The rain had gone away and the sun really smiled on us!
0830 - Breakfast time. Sabah style mee hoon goreng.
0900 - 1100 - Beach time! The big waves certainly made our swims more interesting!
1215 - Checked out time. Though our stay was quite short, the experience was really different and we really enjoyed it. We will try to come again in future.
1230 - 1530 - We departed the resort, had a brief drive around Kuala Penyu town. Stopped at Rumbia Information Centre to learn about the Rumbia swamp. Our route : Kuala Penyu - Beaufort - Bongawan - Membakut - Papar by Pass and KK. We had a stop over for late lunch at Grace Court KK.
1530 - Safely arrived home.
1600 - 1700 - Bicycle time for the kids!
2000 - Dinner at Nyonya restaurant. Sabah style seafood restaurant. We treated Atuk for some nice seafood meals considering they are leaving tomorrow.
2200 - All home. Hakim and Nurin straight to beds for they have a Yatching lesson tomorrow.
2230 - Arief off to bed. Nadia was still active. We did'nt know what time she fell asleep.
Tomorrow, we have to wake Nurin and Hakim up as in normal school day because their van is departing at 0700. Atuk plane is due at 1545 meaning we have to leave for the airport by 1315. OK!
